Outbreak Associated with Mexico Viejo restaurant in Taylorsville, North Carolina

Health Director Leeanne Whisnant told news outlets that more than 30 people got sick after eating at that facility on June 20, 2018.

Chicken is one menu item being looked at as a possible source of the outbreak of illnesses. However, there is some indication that some of the people sickened did not eat chicken.
