Viking Range LLC of Greenwood, Mississippi, recalled about 52,000 gas ranges after the company received 75 reports of gas ranges turning on by themselves, including three reports of burns and four reports of property damage claims.
Product Description
The recalled Viking gas range products were sold in stainless steel, black, white and 21 different colors and finishes. They had various surface configurations, including all burners and burners with a griddle and/or grill.

- VGCC548 (from 020109 through 010913);
- VGCC560 (from 050111 through 010313);
- VGSC530 (from 063008 through 063014);
- VGSC536 (from 113008 through 063014);
- VGSC548 (from 030109 through 063014).
The model and serial numbers above can be found on a label in one of three locations: On the bottom of the control panel above the door, on the front of the oven cavity below the control panel, or on the inside of the left side panel. Only search for the model and serial number when the range is not hot.
