Ra’Shede Hageman (son of attorney Eric Hageman) has much warmer winters to look forward to. Hageman, a star nose guard at the University of Minnesota, was drafted to play for the Atlanta Falcons in the 79th NFL Draft.

Hageman was chosen by the Falcons in the second round of the Draft and was the 37th overall draft pick. Texas A&M offensive tackle Jake Matthews and Demen Southward from Wisconsin were also chosen to play for the Falcons.

Hageman has already forged a strong connection with the coaching staff of the Falcons. Head coach Mike Smith and defensive line coach Brian Cox had the opportunity to work with Hageman at last year’s Senior Bowl. This has given the Falcon’s coaching staff a unique opportunity to get to know Ra’Shede as both a player and an individual.

Ra’Shede was accompanied to the NFL Draft, held at Radio City Music Hall by the entire Hageman family.

We would like to wish Ra’Shede the best of luck as he begins his professional career.
