Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura
Post infectious thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is related to hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). It is referred to as the "adult-HUS". Fred Pritzker has extensive experience with E. coli lawsuits and has recovered millions for E. coli victims. He has gained a national reputation and has been interviewed by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS and others. In recognition of his accomplishments, he has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura
thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura is usually seen in adults, especially the elderly. The disease is similar to HUS. With thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, there is less kidney damage; but there is neurological damage, including stroke, seizures, and central nervous system deterioration. Approximately 85% of those infected with post infectious thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura recover, with supportive care.
