Lawyers Representing Multiple Victims in Mountain State Fair Legionnaires’ Disease Outbreak

The Legionnaires’ disease lawyers at Pritzker Hageman, led by attorney Fred Pritzker, are representing multiple legionella victims in the Mountain State Fair outbreak. One of our clients was in an induced coma in the ICU, where she has been hospitalized for three weeks. She will then be transferred to a rehab hospital.

Health officials have linked a hot tub exhibit to the illnesses. Legionnaires’ disease is a severe form of pneumonia that infects people who inhale water droplets contaminated with legionella bacteria. The bacteria grow best in warm water and often contaminate the water in hot tubs, cooling towers, hot water tanks, building plumbing systems, and decorative fountains, etc.

Mountain State Fair Outbreak
