Attorney Ryan Osterholm was named an Up & Coming Attorney for 2016 by Minnesota Lawyer Magazine. This is an honor bestowed on a select few attorneys in the state. According to the magazine, the award honors attorneys in their first 10 years of practice who have already distinguished themselves by their achievements.
Eric Hageman, attorney and respected member of the Minnesota legal community, shared his submission for Ryan’s nomination. In Eric’s own words:
“It is rare for an attorney so young to be recognized as a national leader in a specialized area of law, but Ryan Osterholm, only seven years out of law school, has unquestionably become one of the foremost foodborne illness lawyers in America. After joining our law firm, Ryan’s knowledge of the science involved in foodborne illness litigation allowed him to quickly develop a nationwide practice. His reputation was aided by an impressive – and growing – list of results he achieved on behalf of victims of foodborne illness outbreaks throughout the country. Ryan has been the lead litigator in cases involving people sickened with listeria, e. coli, campylobacter or salmonella in over fifteen different states.”
Ryan Osterholm has carved out a successful area of practice as the new face of food safety, practicing nearly exclusively in the area of foodborne illness litigation. Ryan stands up for the little guy against some of the largest food producers and manufactures in the world. He has won millions for his clients against these corporate Goliaths.
