The court found North American Van Lines responsible for the accident, which resulted in three deaths and multiple injuries (Kalland v. North American Van Lines, Inc.)3.
  • In Illinois, a North American Van Lines truck was involved in a collision while blocking three lanes of traffic after attempting to U-turn onto a blocked off street. The driver of the other vehicle died instantly. North American Van Lines was later accused of failing to place signs alerting other drivers to the stalled truck (Steward v. Crissell and North American Van Lines, Inc.)4.
  • In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a North American Van Lines truck allegedly collided with a car while heading westbound on an interstate. The driver of the car suffered injuries and later sought damages for pain and suffering (Shreck v. North American Van Lines, Inc.)5.
