In the two years prior to December 9, 2008 Allied Vans Lines trucks were involved in 87 crashes, with 30 resulting in injury according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).1

Examples of Allied Van Lines Accidents include the following:

  • Car Accident Settlement. In Texas, a woman was involved in a collision with an Allied Van Lines tractor-trailer while moving to avoid a tractor-trailer that had swerved into her lane. The woman suffered permanent brain injury and will require life-long assistance due to the accident (Kellum v. Allied Van Lines, Inc.).2
  • Truck-SUV Accident Results in Death and Burn Injuries. In Louisiana, an Allied Van Lines tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with an SUV.  Two children were killed and four adults were injured after the SUV became airborne and then caught fire.  Two of the adults were severely burned, one over 65 percent of her body and one on over 85 percent of his body.  They spent months in a burn unit.3
