RECALL OF GROUND BEEF SOLD AT STEW LEONARD'S - LAWSUIT AND LAWYER INFORMATION:
The Stew Leonard’s store in Yonkers, New York, has recalled 96% lean ground round purchased between June 30 and August 1, 2007. The recall was prompted by 3 confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7 associated with consuming ground beef sold at the store. As a public service, Pritzker | Ruohonen has provided the press release regarding the Stew Leonard's ground beef recall here.
This is one of several ground beef recalls throughout the nation in the last few months. More than 6 million pounds of ground beef and beef trim (used for ground beef) have been recalled due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7. Dozens of people have been sickened.
