Multi-State E. coli Outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd. Products Sold Under the Coleman Brand

The United States Department of Agriculture has reported that 31 confirmed E. coli cases are linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd. products sold under the Coleman brand. To date, people have been sickened in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Massachusetts E. coli Outbreak Associated with
Nebraska Beef, Ltd. and Whole Foods Market

Health officials have associated recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. ground beef with a Massachusetts E. coli outbreak that has seven confirmed cases. Whole Foods Market sold the recalled Nebraska Beef ground beef under the Coleman brand to consumers after the recall date, according to a news release from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Georgia E. coli outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd.

Health officials have linked recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. beef products to a Georgia E. coli outbreak that has 8 confirmed cases and 4 probable cases. The recalled meat was sold to a supplier, who sold it to the Barbecue Pit in Moultrie, Georgia. All of the people sickened in the outbreak ate at the Barbecue Pit.

Michigan E. coli Outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd.

Health officials have linked recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. beef products to a Michigan E. coli outbreak that has 22 confirmed cases (22 according to the Michigan Department of Public Health and 20 according to the CDC). Over half of those cases are people who either prepared or consumed hamburger meat from Kroger. Twelve of these cases are known to have required hospitalization.

Ohio E. coli Outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd.

Health officials have linked recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. beef products to an Ohio E. coli outbreak that has 22 confirmed cases (22 according to the Ohio Department of Health and 21 according to the CDC). Over half of those cases are people who either prepared or consumed hamburger meat from Kroger. We have filed a lawsuit against Nebraska Beef and Kroger.

Multi-State E. coli Outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd.

Health officials have linked recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. beef products to a multi-state E. coli outbreak that has 49 confirmed cases, according to the last report by the CDC. Over half of those cases are people who either prepared or consumed hamburger meat from Kroger. We have filed a lawsuit against Nebraska Beef and Kroger.
