Minnesota Cub Foods stores have recalled certain prepackaged steaks that are part of a nationwide recall of over 1 million pounds of beef products.  The beef was produced by Nebraska Beef, Ltd., a company that has recalled over 6 million pounds of beef products in the last several weeks due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7.

Cub Foods is recalling Wild Harvest brand Beef Choice ribeye steaks, sirloin steaks and strip steaks, all beef products that were part of the Nebraska Beef recall. They were on store shelves between July 1 and August 8 and are marked with sell-by dates through and including September 6.

We have sued Cub Foods in the past on behalf of victims of another E. coli outbreak.  That outbreak was linked to frozen hamburger patties sold at Cub Foods.  If you have questions about our Cub Foods lawsuit, please contact Fred Pritzker, managing attorney for our E. coli litigation cases.
