Alabama E. coli Lawsuit

ALABAMA E. COLI LAWSUIT INFORMATION: Pritzker | Olsen, P.A., a leading E. coli litigation law firm, is monitoring an Alabama E. coli O157:H7 outbreak that may be associated with a church supper in Daphne, Alabama. At least 8 people who attended the annual "Beast Feast and Wild Game Supper" at the Eastern Shore First Baptist Church last weekend have been diagnosed with E. coli infections. 5 people were hospitalized. Two of those, Grant Barber, 10, and his brother, Jackson Barber, 7.

Health officials are now looking for the source of the outbreak, but according to Ken Wilson, a pastor at Eastern Shore First Baptist Church, that may prove to be difficult because of the wide variety of food served at the event. If a food source can be found, those sickened may have a claim against the food manufacturer, distributor, retailer and others.

The people sickened need to be compensated. If the only source of compensation is the church, the only way to obtain compensation from the church's insurance company may be to initiate a lawsuit against the church. This is a sensitive situation, and one that we are familiar with. The main focus for everyone during this time should be the well being of those who contracted E. coli infections. It can be helpful to retain an experienced E. coli lawyer to handle the legal issues.
