Pritzker Olsen Attorneys

Home Safety Recalls

Pritzker | Olsen, P.A. , a nationally-known personal injury law firm, represents people injured by products subject to home-safety recalls.  Each year hundreds of people are injured by products subject to home-safety recalls, including coffee pots, fans, dryers, and a variety of other products.  Most of these products involve products that could cause a fire and thus burn injuries, brain injury, and death.  Compensation for injuries associated with home-safety recalls can include medical expenses, loss of income, emotional distress, pain and suffering, and other damages.

When an accident or fire and subsequent injury or death involves a product subject to a home-safety recall, an attorney needs to investigate the facts surrounding the fire to determine if the defect associated with the home-safety recall caused the accident or fire.  This requires an experienced product liability lawyer.  It is important to contact a product liability lawyer as soon as possible after an accident or fire to ensure that evidence is preserved.  To contact a product liability lawyer at Pritzker | Olsen, P.A., please call toll-free at 1-888-377-8900 or submit the firm’s online consultation form.

The grills have faulty regulators that can release too much gas to the burner causing an excessive burner flame. This also poses a risk of gas leaks, fires and explosions if an ignition source is present.

Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Set Recall
The recalled swing set models include: The Durango, Tacoma, Oddsey, Bellvue, Monarch, Grand Teton and Outlook II. The swing sets are made of wood, and feature various types of slides, swings and a fabric canopy over part of the structure.

General Electric Gas Stove Recall
These General Electric (GE) gas stoves have a design flaw that can cause an electrical arc between the wiring and griddle gas supply tube, posing a fire hazard.
