Papaya Salmonella:
Attorney for Outbreak Investigation
Attorney Fred Pritzker and his team of Salmonella lawyers are investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Agona associated with papayas imported from Mexico by Agromod Produce, Inc., a Texas company. Prompted by the outbreak, Agromod produce has issued a papaya recall. The papaya Salmonella outbreak has sickened at least 106 people in 25 states:
Arkansas (1), Arizona (4), California (8), Colorado (1), Georgia (8), Illinois (18), Indiana (1), Kentucky (1), Louisiana (2), Massachusetts (1), Minnesota (3), Missouri (3), Nebraska (2), Nevada (1), New Jersey (1), New Mexico (3), New York (9), Ohio (1), Oklahoma (1), Pennsylvania (2), Tennessee (1), Texas (25), Virginia (2), Washington (5), and Wisconsin (2).
Our attorneys have won money for food poisoning victims in most of the states involved in this outbreak. We just won over a million dollars for one woman in Georgia who was sickened in another outbreak.
If you contracted a Salmonella infection (salmonellosis) after eating Agromod papayas, you may have a claim for money damages against Agromod and others. A full analysis of your case and further investigation is necessary to determine the parties that you have a right to sue and how much your Salmonella Agona lawsuit is worth.
Salmonella infection can cause Reiter’s syndrome (a form of arthritis), meningitis (infection of the brain and spinal cord), sepsis (infection of the blood, also called septicemia) and death.
