Del Monte Recalls Cantaloupe Due to
Possible Salmonella Contamination

Del Monte Cantaloupe Recall and Outbreak AttorneysDel Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. (“Del Monte Fresh”) of Coral Gables, Florida recalled 4,992 cartons of cantaloupes on March 22, 2011. The cantaloupes were distributed by Del Monte Fresh through warehouse clubs, including Costco, in Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

The recalled cantaloupe were sold to consumers at the warehouse clubs in mesh bags with three cantaloupe to a bag. The cantaloupe were available for sale at the warehouse clubs between the 10th of March and the 21st of March, 2011. Read about a Del Monte cantaloupe recall lawsuit.
