Salmonella Recalls

Recalls of food products due to the potential risk of Salmonella food poisoning are issued by the food manufacturer or the government. Generally, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS), an arm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, or the food manufacturer issue the recalls.

Although a process for informing the public is in place, many consumers are left not knowing that food they have in their refrigerator may be harboring potentially-fatal Salmonella bacteria. At Pritzker | Ruohonen & Associates, P.A., we care about the prevention of Salmonella food poisoning. As a public service, we provide information on Salmonella recalls and news alerts and other information on Salmonella Poisoning.
