Woman Seriously Injured in Crash on Diffley Rd, MN

A woman was seriously injured in an accident at the intersection of Diffley Road and Nicols Road in Eagan, MN on May 4, 2016. The crash happened at about 7:39 a.m.

The 44-year-old woman was turning from eastbound Diffley Road to northbound Nicols Road in a Mazda 5 and was broadsided by a Ford Edge, which was traveling west on Diffley Road, driven by a 30-year-old woman. The 44-year-old woman was seriously injured and was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. The 30-year-0ld woman was also injured, but with non-life threatening injuries, and was also taken to Regions. Those two women were the only occupants in each vehicle.

The Eagan Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the accident. The weather was clear and the roads were dry at the time of the accident.
