Two Injured in Crash in Kandiyohi County, MN

Two people were injured in an accident in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota on May 4, 2016. The crash occurred at 1:34 p.m. on Highway 12 at County Road 9 near Wilmar, Minnesota. The road condition was dry at the time and the weather was clear. This is a four lane divided roadway.

A 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, which was northbound on Highway 71, took the exit ramp to Highway 12. The Trailblazer then tried to turn west onto Highway 12 and broadsided a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country which was traveling in the westbound left lane.

A 34-year-old man from Kandiyohi, MN, a passenger in the Town & Country, was injured in the accident, as was the driver of the Chrysler. The driver of the Trailblazer was not injured in the accident.
