FedEx Driver Cited for Fatal Crash

A 26-year-old woman from Colorado Springs was tragically killed yesterday in a collision with a FedEx delivery truck. The driver of the FedEx truck was cited for careless driving involving a death and failing to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign.

The woman was driving an AMC Concord when she hit a FedEx truck that was making a left turn at the intersection of Palmer Park Boulevard and Fetterman Drive.

The public has a right to expect that truck drivers will be highly trained professionals, who are qualified to operate large commercial vehicles.
