A 61-year-old man from Butte was killed in a semi crash on Interstate 90 on the Idaho side of the Montana/Idaho border on February 2, 2016. The man was conducting maintenance on his semi tractor trailers on the eastbound side of the road when another semi’s trailers struck his trailers.
The man was struck by his trailers after the initial impact. He later died of his injuries at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho. Conditions were snowy at the time of the accident, which happened at milepost 73.3. The other truck driver was not injured.
