2 Airlifted to Hospital After Clintonville, WI Fire

Two people who were injured in a Clintonville, WI fire were airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital Wednesday night. The fire, at 49 S. Main Street, broke out just before 8:20 p.m. when fire crews were called to the two-story building with apartments above the Doesn’t Compute computer store and Main Street Tattoos. A firefighter who was also injured was treated at the scene.

A witness described flames shooting out of the roof and a lot of smoke. The apartments were gutted. Firefighters from seven departments battled the blaze and had the fire knocked down by 10 p.m. The State Fire Marshal told local news outlets that the investigation of the fire is ongoing and that its source has not yet been determined.

One man and one woman were injured. Firefighters found the man unresponsive and resuscitated him at the scene.
