Mushroom Conference

An attorney at our law firm recently spoke in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the 23rd North American Mushroom Conference. The conference was held at the Intercontinental Hotel and  brought together mushroom growers and producers from throughout the United States and Canada.

During the presentation, attended by more than 100 industry people, our lawyer covered the specifics of how trial lawyers work up, litigate, and settle cases. He also explained why the mushroom industry should support enhanced testing methods and product tracking. His presentation further covered specific outbreaks and why they represented failures of upper management to get involved in quality control.

While the mushroom industry has not suffered a major outbreak, the presentation was nonetheless well received by the industry insiders.
