Hepatitis A Treatment
La Mesa, California Chipotle Hepatitis A Outbreak
At least twenty-one people have contracted hepatitis A after eating at the La Mesa Chipotle in San Diego County, California. Read about the La Mesa, California Chipotle Hepatitis A and lawyer and lawsuit information.
Hepatitis A Treatment & Your Family
If you or a family member has diarrhea and jaundice, you should get your blood tested for the hepatitis A virus because hepatitis A can cause damage to the liver. Some people are sick for months with hepatitis A, and a small number of people need liver transplants due to the damage caused by hepatitis A.
Hepatitis A Treatment
There is not a specific medicinal hepatitis A treatment. The goals in hepatitis A treatment include:
- Keep the patient as comfortable as possible;
- Have the patient rest and drink a lot of water and other fluids; and
- Prevent more liver damage by having the patient avoid alcohol and medications that might stress the liver.
Legal Representation for Hepatitis A Victims
If you or a loved one has suffered the discomfort of hepatitis A, it is possible the hepatitis A virus was transferred by tainted food served in a restaurant. Millions of people are affected by food poisoning each year, and many of those incidences are caused by unsanitary conditions in restaurants. You have legal remedies against any restaurant that serves food contaminated with hepatitis A or any other foodborne illness. Our Senior Partner, Attorney Fred Pritzker, has had 29 years of experience helping people who have been injured by the negligence of others. He has established a national reputation in the area of foodborne illnesses, including hepatitis A. His peers have recognized his excellence, and he has been selected for inclusion in the 2005-2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
