Ground Buffalo E. coli Recall
At least 7 people in Colorado (5), New York (1) and Maryland (1) have contracted E. coli O157:H7 infections after consuming bison products processed by Rocky Mountain Natural Meats, a Henderson, CO firm. In response to this outbreak, the company recalled about 66,000 pounds of product on July 2, 2010.
Brands involved in the recall include Nature's Rancher, Great Range, The Buffalo Guys and Rocky Mountain Natural Meats. Read more about the Rocky Mountain Natural Meats bison recall.
