Michigan E. coli O145 Outbreak in Ann Arbor, MI Area
Our law firm is investigating an outbreak of E. coli O145 that has been linked to consumption of Freshway Foods shredded lettuce that was served at restaurants, cafeterias and delis. Freshway Foods is a Sidney, Ohio firm that sells shredded lettuce in large plastic bags for commercial use. We have won money for other E. coli victims who were sickened by commercially bagged lettuce. Although millions of pounds of commercially bagged, shredded lettuce is consumed every year without incident, there is a higher risk for E. coli contamination.
Ten E. coli O145 cases have been confirmed by the CDC. Three additional cases are probable.
Possible liable parties (parties who would compensate victims) in this outbreak include the following:
- Freshway Foods
- The grower
- The restaurant, cafeteria, deli or grocery store that sold the lettuce
E. coli Lawsuit Information: Victim Compensation

The compensation available for an E. coli victims and his or her family, may include payments for the following:
