St. Louis E. coli Outbreak
An antibiotic-resistant strain of E. coli is the cause of an outbreak that has stricken at least 22 people in the St. Louis area. There are 16 confirmed cases in St. Louis County, two in Jefferson County, two in St. Charles County, one in St. Louis City and one in St. Clair County.

Organic Pastures E. coli Outbreak
From August through October, 2011, 5 children have contracted E. coli O157 infections after consuming raw milk produced by Organic Pastures of Fresno County, California. Three of the five children developed hemolytic urmemic syndrome (HUS). Read about an Organic Pastures lawsuit.

North Carolina State Fair E. coli
A North Carolina State Fair E. coli investigation is under way by our E. coli lawyers after state and county officials confirmed that seven children and two adults have been sickened by E. coli. McNees Beef Recall in Michigan - Lawsuit

J. B. Meats Ground Beef E. coli Recall Lawsuit
Two people have been sickened with E. coli poisoning after consuming ground beef processed by J. B. Meats, a Cincinnati, Ohio establishment. In response to this outbreak, J. Opelika E. coli Lawsuit involving Splash Park
The Alabama Department of Public Health continues its investigation of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in Lee County. Thirteen children and two adults who either played in the Splash Park or swam in the pool at the Opelika SportsPlex and Aquatic Center.

Jason's Deli E. coli - Killeen, Texas
Five cases of E. coli O157:H7 in the Killeen, Texas, area have been traced to food served at a Jason’s Deli there in April, 2011, according to Bell County health officials.

E. coli Bologna Outbreak

Hazelnuts Recall Lawsuit
A multi-state outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections has been associated with eating hazelnuts purchased from bulk bins at retail food stores during the holidays. Zillman Meat Market E coli Lawsuit
Four persons have developed E. coli poisoning, including one hospitalization, from eating smoked ready-to-eat meat products processed at Zillman Meat Market in Wausau, WI.

Sally Jackson Cheese Recall: E. coli Lawyer Provides Information
The FDA announced a recall of raw milk cheese made by Sally Jackson Cheese of Oroville, Washington. The recall includes all cheese products made from cow, goat, and sheep milk. Fralo's Art of Pizza, located at Interstate 10 and Boerne Stage Road, was shut down by the San Antonio Metro Health Department for four days due to E. coli contaminated water supply. Rocky Mountain Natural Meats Bison Recall
An outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 in Colorado (5 people) and New York (1 person) has prompted a recall of Rocky Mountain Natural Meats bison products. Read about a Rocky Mountain Natural Meats lawsuit.

Great Range Bison E. coli Lawsuit
In response to an E. coli outbreak associated with Rocky Mountain Natural Meats, certain Great Range bison products were recalled, including Great Range ground bison and Great Range bison steaks.

Ground Buffalo E. coli Lawsuit
In response to an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in Colorado and New York, Rocky Mountain Natural Meats recalled about 66,000 pounds of bison product on July 2, 2010, including Nature's Rancher Ground Buffalo.

Hartmann Dairy E coli Lawsuit Lawyer
In May, 2010, the Minnesota Department of Health linked three cases of E. coli O157:H7 illness with raw milk from Hartmann Dairy Farm in Gibbon, Minnesota. One person developed HUS.

E. coli O145 HUS from Freshway Foods Lettuce

Our lawyers filed suit against The Barbecue Pit, Inc. restaurant, Nebraska Beef, Ltd. and H & L Distributors on behalf of a woman who contracted an E. coli infection after eating contaminated beef later recalled by Nebraska Beef. She developed HUS-TTP and almost died.

E. coli O145
Our law firm is investigation an E. coli O145 outbreak that has sickened people in Michigan, Ohio and New York that has been linked to Freshway Foods romaine lettuce. Ohio E. coli O145 Lawsuit
According to Columbus Public Health, 13 probable cases of E.coli have been reported and as many as five of those cases have been confirmed.  Two of the confirmed cases match the E. coli strain in a Michigan outbreak.

Michigan E. coli O145 Lawsuit
Washtenaw County Public Health is investigating an E. coli outbreak that has sickened several people in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. According to news reports, the E. coli strain involved is E. coli O145; however, health officials are awaiting test results from the CDC. Seven of the local cases have been confirmed as E. coli O145 and are related to one another. Fourteen cases are awaiting laboratory confirmation of E. coli.

Fairbank Farms Beef Recall Lawsuit
Fairbank Farms, an Ashville, New York firm, is recalling approximately 545,699 pounds of fresh ground beef products that has been associated with a multi-state E. coli O157:H7 outbreak. Petting Zoo Llama E. coli HUS

South Shore Meat Company Recall
On October 26, 2009, South Shore Meat Company in Brockton, Massachusetts has recalled about 1,039 pounds of fresh ground beef patties derived from bench trim as well as mechanically tenderized beef cuts based on confirmed laboratory evidence of the presence of E. coli O157:H7 in leftover ground beef samples obtained from Camp Bournedale, a nature camp in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Wendy's E. coli Lawsuit
An E. coli O157:H7 outbreak has been associated with lettuce served at a Wendy's restartant in Fredericton some time before October 27, 2009.

JBS Swift Beef Recall
At least 18 cases of E. coli have been associated with eating JBS Swift Beef Company beef products. Prompted by this E. coli outbreak, JBS Swift recalled about 380,000 pounds of ground beef that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. Read about a possible JBS Swift Beef Company lawsuit.

Maine E. coli Outbreak
Maine CDC is investigating a cluster of 7 shiga toxin positive E.coli O157:H7 (STEC) cases in Cumberland and York counties that occurred among residents over the past month (case onset dates of April 17 to May 17).  Of the 7 Maine E. coli cases, 4 cases match by Pulse-Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) and are considered part of a national cluster.

Ground Beef E. coli Outbreak
An investigation of E. coli infections associated with consumption of ground beef has sickened people in Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania. One 7-year-old Cleveland girl may have died in the outbreak. Colorado E. coli
A Colorado E. coli outbreak has been associated with Jimmy John's. The outbreak began at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where students and others were sickened. Read about the Univeristy of Colorado (UC) E. coli outbreak.

Michigan E. coli: Lettuce
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has associated 26 cases of E. coli O157:H7 with bagged, industrial-sized packages of iceberg lettuce sold through wholesale venues (Aunt Mid's lawsuit) to restaurants and institutions (University of Michigan and MSU E. coli lawsuit).

Idaho E. coli
An E. coli outbreak at Little Leggs Daycare in Idaho has led to eight confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7.

Vermont E. coli
On October 10, 2008, the Vermont Department of Health warned consumers not to eat undercooked meat because it has identified 8 cases of E. coli O157:H7 in Vermont.

California E. coli
A California E. coli outbreak has sickened attendees of the BBQ Benefit in Forest Ranch, California. Health officials have determined that contaminated beef tri-tip was the source of the outbreak.

South Dakota Boy in Hospital with HUS
A four-year-old from Brandon, South Dakota is in a Minneapolis Hospitalwith hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), probably from an E. coli O157:H7 infection.  South Dakota health officials are investigating this illness along with others that may be part of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak.

Oklahoma E. coli
An Oklahoma E. coli outbreak may have sickened over 300 people. One person has died (E. coli wrongful death). The Oklahoma State Department of Health has reported that a majority of the people sickened ate at the Country Cottage, a Locust Grove restaurant. Read Country Cottage lawsuit information.

Multi-State Outbreak Linked to Nebraska Beef
State and federal health officials have linked 31 confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7 to Nebraska Beef, Ltd. products sold under the Coleman brand. People in 12 states were sickened: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The recalled Coleman products were sold by grocery stores, including but not limited to Whole Foods Market.

Massachusetts E. coli Outbreak
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has confirmed 7 cases of E. coli O157:H7. Health officials have associated recalled Nebraska Beef, Ltd. ground beef sold under the Coleman brand by Whole Foods Market with this outbreak. Nebraska Beef and Kroger Lawsuit

E. coli - Multistate Outbreak Linked to Kroger Ground Beef and Nebraska Beef, Ltd. Ground Beef Components
There are now 49 confirmed cases in an E. coli outbreak in Michigan (Michigan E. coli), Ohio (Ohio E. coli), Georgia (Georgia E. coli), Indiana, Kentucky, New York and Utah linked to Kroger ground beef and Nebraska ground beef components. E. coli - Washington E. coli Outbreak Associated with Lettuce

Minnesota Preschool E. coli Outbreak
An E. coli outbreak at Wonder World Preschool in the town of Slayton, Minnesota has led to eight confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7. One child has been hospitalized and is showing signs of hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). Read about the Minnesota E. coli outbreak linked to Wonder World Preschool.

E. coli - Washington E. coli Outbreak Associated with Lettuce

Nebraska E. coli Outbreak Associated with Roast Beef
Nebraska E. coli outbreak associated with roast beef has sickened at least 14 people. Epidemiological evidence indicates that those sickened ate the roast beef at a private event at a Sarpy County reception hall on March 26, 2008. E. coli Outbread Linked to Sam's Club Hamburgers
Health officials in several states are investigating cases of E. coli O157:H7 infection associated with eating Cargill hamburger patties purchased from Sam’s Club stores in August and September.  5 people from Minnesota, 4 people from Wisconsin, 2 children from North Carolina, and 3 children from Tennessee have laboratory-confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7 associated with the Cargill / Sam's Club hamburgers.  Read about the Cargill hamburger recall.  Another recent recall of hamburger patties sold at Sam's Club is associated with a separate E. coli O157:H7 outbreak.  Read about the Topps and Sam's Choice hamburger recall.

Oregon and Washington E. coli: Ground Beef Sold at Safeway, QFC, and Fred Meyer

Colorado Albertsons Stores - Ground Beef Recall
PritzkerOlsen is currently investigating the E. coli outbreak associated with ground beef sold at Colorado Albertsons grocery stores.  This is part of a multi-state recall of ground beef issued by United Food Group LLC.  At least 2 people in Colorado have contracted E. coli O157:H7 infections in this outbreak.  Learn about a possible Albertsons lawsuit

Arizona E. coli Outbreak Linked to Ground Beef

California E. coli Outbreak Linked to The Grill at Meat Market
PritzkerOlsen, P.A. is investigating an E. coli outbreak in the Fresno, California area that has been linked to tri-tip (beef ) from The Grill at Meat Market by the Fresno County Department of Community Health.  People who attended three parties in the Fresno area were sickened in this outbreak.  All three events were catered by Meat Market.  Learn about the E. coli outbreak and a possible Meat Market lawsuit.

E. coli: Lunds and Byerly's Ground Beef Recall and Outbreak

California E. coli Outbreak
May 14, 2007 - Health officials are still looking for the source of the Bakersfield, California, E. coli outbreak that has sickened 12 people, 11 of them children.  Four of the children have been hospitalized with complications of E. coli O157:H7 infections, including hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), the leading cause of kidney failure in children in the United States.  Read more about the California E. coli outbreak.
