Hylands Teething Tablets Lawsuit
On October 23, 2010, FDA notified consumers of a Hyland’s Teething Tablets recall issued because the tablets may cause belladonna toxicity.

Dorel Juvenile Group Recalls Nearly 800,000 Child Safety Seats
The recall was issued on February 15, 2011 and includes car seats sold under the brand names of Cosco, Maxi-Cosi, and Safety 1st brands. This car seat has been under investigation since March 5, 2010 and was sold at Wal-mart, K-Mart, Target, Amazon.com and other retailers.

Graco Stroller Wrongful Death Attorneys
On October 20, 2010, Graco Children's Products Inc., of Atlanta, Georgia, recalled about 2 million strollers that they quit selling in 2007. Baby Matters Nap Nanny Recall
On July 26, 2010, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Baby Matters LLC, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, announced the voluntary recall of 30,000 Nap Nanny® portable baby recliners. CPSC is investigating a report of a 4-month-old girl from Royal Oak, Mich. who died in a Nap Nanny® that was being used in a crib.

Tots in Mind Playyard Tent Strangulation Death
Prompted by the death of a toddler, on July 15, 2010, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada (HC), in cooperation with Tots in Mind Inc., of Salem, N.H., announced the voluntary recall of about 20,000 (and 85 in Canada) Cozy Indoor Outdoor Portable Playard Tents Plus Cabana Kits.

Sprout Stuff Ring Sling Baby Death
In June of 2010, Sprout Stuff, of Austin, Texas, recalled about 40 Sprout Stuff infant ring slings. CPSC and Sprout Stuff are aware of one report of a death of a 10-day-old boy in the recalled sling in Round Rock, Texas in 2007.

Evenflo Gate Lawsuit
On March 25, 2010, Evenflow Company of Miamisburg, Ohio, announced a recall of Evenflo Top-of-Stair™ Plus Wood Gates. The Evenflow gate recall involves about 150,000 in the United States and 33,000 in Canada. The slats on the gate can break or detach, posing a fall hazard to children.

Evenflo Lawsuit
Evenflo is a Miamisburg, Ohio company that manufactures juvenile products for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children. Their products include strollers, play yards/playpens, activity products, car seats, high chairs, doorway gates and others. Several of their baby products have been recalled.

Dorel Lawsuit
Dorel Juvenile Group based in Foxboro, Massachusetts, is a division of Dorel Industries, Inc. and has been a manufacturer of infant and toddler products since 1984. The company’s products include car seats, strollers, high chairs, play yards, monitors, childproofing products and others.

Lajobi Crib Lawsuit
In December of 2001 and again in December of 2009, LaJobi recalled about 400 "Molly" and "Betsy" cribs due to a strangulation risk. In August of 2009, LaJobi recalled about 2,000 Bonavita “Cabana” Drop Side Cribs because the wooden crib slats can detach or break creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.

Munire Lawsuit
In December 2008 a Munire Furniture crib and furniture recall involved about 3,000 cribs and 6,000 matching furniture pieces that posed a lead poisoning risk.

Window Cord Death Lawsuit
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, since 1990, more than 200 infants and young children have died from accidentally strangling in window cords. These deaths have prompted a massive recall of blinds and shades with cords that may strangle children.

Dorel Asia Crib Lawsuit and Recall
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Dorel Asia SRL received a report of the death of a 6-month old child from Cedar Rapids, Iowa who became entrapped and strangled in a Dorel Asia crib after the drop side hardware broke. The death prompted a recall of over 600,000 cribs.

Baby Bracelet Lead Poisoning
Allerds Design (doing business as Hidden Hollow Beads) recalled about 900 Allreds Design Baby Bracelets and Pacifier Clips on February 17, 2010, because the recalled Allerds Design bracelets and pacifier clip clasps contain high levels of lead.

Stork Craft Crib Recall and Fisher-Price Crib Recall
Prompted by the four deaths and falls, Stork Craft has announced a Stork Craft and Fisher-Price crib recall that involves about 147,000 Stork Craft drop-side cribs with the Fisher-Price logo and almost 2 million Stork Craft drop-side cribs that do not have the Fisher-Price logo on them. Graco Stroller Recall Due to Amputation Risk
Graco Children's Products Inc. has recalled about 1.5 million Graco strollers and travel systems due to possible amputation risk.

Caramia Crib Recall
About 1000 Caramia "Diane" cribs have been recalled because the slats on the cribs drop-side can detach from the top and bottom rails, posing fall and strangulation risk.

Amby Baby Bed Recall Due to Suffication Wrongful Death
Two babies are dead because some manufacturer thought it was a good idea to have a baby motion bed that is essentially a hammock that rocks the baby.

LaJobi Crib Recall Re-Announced
Crib manufacturer LaJobi is re-announcing a 2001 recall of Molly and Betsy style cribs over concerns that the cribs may still be sold at second-hand stores. In 2003, a Mississippi child died after her head and neck became trapped in a headboard cut-out of the “Betsy” style crib. The recall affects “Molly” style cribs, models 0101327 02 (Natural), 0101327 11 (Antique Green) and 0101327 12 (Antique White) and “Betsy” style cribs, models 0101257 02 (Natural), 0101257 11 (Antique Green) and 0101257 12 (Antique White). About 400 cribs are involved in the recall and they were sold at juvenile specialty stores nationwide from May 2000 through September 2001.

Adventure Playsets Recall
On November 5, 2009, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada announced the recall of about 275,000 Adventure Playsets in the United States and 6,800 in Canada due to a falling hazard.

Fisher-Price High Chair Recall
Fisher-Price and the the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have received a report of one child falling out of a Fisher-Price 3-in-1 high chair. In response, Fisher-Price has voluntarily recalled about 24,000 Fisher-Price 3-in-1 high chairs, specifically 3-in-1 High Chair to Booster™, which converts from a high chair to a toddler booster seat.

Tip-Over Deaths: Ovens, Furniture and TVs
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning consumers that unstable TVs, furniture and appliances pose a deadly danger to young children. These items can tip over and crush children, causing injury or death. Last year, CPSC identified this issue as one of the “top five hidden home hazards.” According to a new report out from the CPSC, there were at least 180 tip-over related deaths between 2000 and 2006, 80 percent involving children younger than 10. The report also indicates that between 2005 and 2006 there were at least 40 reports of television or television and furniture related tip-over deaths.

Simplicity Crib Recall: Aspen, Gabrielle, Camille, Providence, Shenandoah
Retailers throughout the United States have recalled about 600,000 Simplicity cribs because the company that purchased the manufacturer of the cribs refuses to recall the dangerous cribs. The recalled Simplicity cribs have hardware that is not the correct size, allowing the drop side to come off the tracks. When the drop side detaches or partially detaches, it creates a hazardous gap, which can lead to infant entrapment and suffocation.

Childs Death Prompts Soccor Goal Net Recall
Regent Sports Corporation recalled about 190,000 MacGregor Folding Soccer Goals and Mitre Folding Soccer Goals. The fixed knot flexible openings in the soccer goal net can pose a head and neck entrapment or strangulation hazard to young children.

Fisher-Price and the the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have received a report of one child falling out of a Fisher-Price 3-in-1 high chair. In response, Fisher-Price has voluntarily recalled about 24,000 Fisher-Price 3-in-1 high chairs.

BRP U.S. Inc. has recalled about 1,200 model year 2008-2009 Can-Am® Youth ATVs due to a collision risk.

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning from Boat Exhaust
In August of 2009, an 8-year-old girl was sitting on a swim platform on a boat when she passed out and fell into the water. An autopsy revealed that she died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Aqua Dots Recall
We are representing children injured by Aqua Dots. A chemical coating on Aqua Dots converts to a powerful “date rape” drug when ingested.  After swallowing Aqua Dots, 2 children in the United States were hospitalized. Stanley Crib Recall
Stanley Furniture Company has recalled about 1,200 2nd Nature Built to Grow Cribs. The cribs could fail to meet a federal safety standard for crib dimensions. When the mattress support is in the middle setting, the space between the mattress and the crib could be too wide, posing an entrapment hazard to infants. Read about the Stanley crib recall.

KYMCO Mongoose Youth ATV Recall
KYMCO USA has recalled about 1,700 2008 Model Year Mongoose Youth ATVs. A manufacturing defect in the carburetor can cause the throttle to stick open, posing a risk of serious injury or death to the rider. Read about the KYMCO Mongoose ATV recall.

Jardine Crib Recall
Jardine Enterprises has recalled about 320,000 Jardine cribs. The wooden crib slats and spindles can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants. Read about the Jardine Crib recall.
