Taste of Chicago Salmonella Heidelberg Outbreak
In the aftermath of the Taste of Chicago, 790 people reported that they became ill after they ate food purchased from the Pars Cove booth at Taste of Chicago.
182 of the 790 cases were confirmed Salmonella infections. Of the 182 confirmed cases, 169 were identified as Salmonella Heidelberg, one of the more common Salmonella serotypes in the United States.
A total of 38 people are known to have been hospitalized.
We are representing a number of people who had confirmed cases of Salmonella. These people experienced severe symptoms and serious complications. They aquired medical expenses, lost income due to the inability to work and experienced pain and suffering that was off the charts. We are actively seeking money compensation for our clients. If you were diagnosed with Salmonella after eating at the Taste of Chicago, please contact Rich Ruohonen, the managing attorney for our Taste of Chicago / Pars Cove cases. Rich can be reached at 1-888-377-8900 (toll-free). If you call after business hours, please leave him a message.
