PB Heat Gas Boiler Recall - Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
PB Heat LLC, a Bally, Pennsylvania company, has recalled about 1,200 gas boilers because the pressure switch could have an internal defect that could fail to shut down the boilers under vent or air inlet blockage. This switch defect could allow the boilers to produce excessive levels of carbon monoxide, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Weil-McLain Gas Boiler Recall

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Laars Boilers and Water Heaters
Laars heating systems has recalled about 2,100 boilers and water heaters.  Internal black plastic venting components in the gas boilers and water heaters can crack and leak flue gases, including carbon monoxide (CO), posing a risk of CO poisoning.  Learn more about the Laars boiler and water heater recall.

Power Vent Water Heater Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Risk
February 21, 2007 - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of certain Power Vent tankless water heaters.  Components inside the water heater may shift during transit, causing an air filter door switch to operate improperly. Weil-McLain Boiler
January 22, 2007 – Weil-McLain Co. in cooperation with the CPSC has recalled about 171 Weil-McLain boilers. The boiler assembly is not properly sealed. New Danger Label Required on All Portable Generators
January 4, 2007 - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) voted unanimously (2-0) today to require manufacturers of portable generators to warn consumers of carbon monoxide (CO) hazards through a new “Danger” label.
