Video: Bus Accident Investigation

In the bus accident case discussed above, our client was crossing the street in the crosswalk.  The bus approached the intersection to turn left.  As the bus was approaching the intersection, a passenger distracted the driver, asked him for directions, and the bus driver turned to answer.  As he did so, he made a turn and ran over our client in the crosswalk, severely injuring him and causing traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Our bus accident attorneys are investigating a potential design defect in certain transit buses.  According to our sources, a large driver's-side mirror obstructs the bus driver’s view when turning left.  Several accidents involving pedestrians may have occurred.

In these transit - bus - pedestrian accident cases, the bus turns left into the crosswalk while the pedestrian is crossing the street, resulting in serious personal injury or wrongful death.
