Bone/ Tissue Graft: Lawyer Provides Information regarding Regeneration Technologies, Inc.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Regeneration Technologies, Inc., may have distributed tissue implant products that were not tested:

  • Bone graft tissue
  • Tendon graft tissue
  • Skin graft tissue
  • Other tissue products

These human tissue products would have been used by a surgeon, other medical doctor, or dentist for a number of different surgical procedures, including the following:

  • Orthopedic surgery – spinal surgery, reconstructive surgery, fracture repair, trauma procedures, bone grafts
  • Cardiovascular (heart) surgery – valve replacement surgery and other procedures
  • Oral surgery – oral/dental implants
  • Tendon surgery – ligament reconstruction, tendon grafts
  • Bladder surgery
  • Other tissue implants

The tissue in question would have been initially purchased by Regeneration Technologies from Biomedical Tissue Services (BTS) of Fort Lee, New Jersey. BTS has been charged with illegally harvesting human tissue, bones and tendons.
