A semi truck accident on I-94 near St. Cloud killed 2 people and injured seven. According to the Minnesota state patrol, westbound traffic on 94 was slowing for a backup from a car fire. The semi (vehicle #1) was going too fast for the slow down and rear ended a car (vehicle #2). Both the semi and the car then rear ended a Chrysler Carryall (vehicle #3). The Chrysler Carryall hit another car (vehicle #4), that rear ended yet another car (vehicle #5).

Vehicles #2 and #3 ran off into the north ditch and rolled. Vehicle #3 landed on top of vehicle #2.
