Legionnaires' Disease
Legionnaires' disease can be caused by hotel swimming pools and hot tubs that are not properly cleaned and disinfected. In these situations, people may breathe in mist or vapors from the pool or hot tub that is contaminated with Legionella, the bacteria responsible for Legionnaires' disease.
