Jason's Deli E. coli - Killeen, Texas
Five cases of E. coli O157:H7 in the Killeen, Texas, area have been traced to food served at a Jason’s Deli in April, 2011, according to Bell County health officials.

Jennie O Salmonella Outbreak
A Salmonella Hadar outbreak has been linked to Jennie-O turkey burgers. Several people in have been sickened in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Washington, and Wisconsin. Read about the related Jennie-O recall.

DeFusco Bakery Salmonella Outbreak Attorney and Lawsuit
The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella, possibly related to a recall of baked goods, including zeppoles.

E. coli Bologna Outbreak

Cantaloupe Recall Lawsuit
March 22, 2011 - Recall of 4,992 cartons of cantaloupes, each containing 4 plastic mesh sleeves with 3 cantaloupes per sleeve (59,904 individual cantaloupe). The cantaloupe was sold at Costco. Read about a Costco cantaloupe lawsuit.

Hazelnuts Recall Lawsuit
A multi-state outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections has been associated with eating hazelnuts purchased from bulk bins at retail food stores during the holidays. Zillman Meat Market E coli Lawsuit
Four persons have developed E. coli poisoning, including one hospitalization, from eating smoked ready-to-eat meat products processed at Zillman Meat Market in Wausau, WI.

Sally Jackson Cheese Recall: E. coli Lawyer Provides Information
The FDA announced a recall of raw milk cheese made by Sally Jackson Cheese of Oroville, Washington. The recall includes all cheese products made from cow, goat, and sheep milk. Jimmy Johns Salmonella Lawsuit
Pritzker Olsen law firm is investigating a Salmonella outbreak (Serotype I 4,5,12,i-) that has been associated with alfalfa sprouts used at Jimmy Johns restaurants in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and other states. Valley Meat Beef Recall
Prompted by an outbreak of E. coli O157:H7, Valley Meat Company, a Modesto, California establishment, recalled approximately one million pounds of frozen ground beef patties and bulk ground beef products. Salmonella Baildon Outbreak Lawsuit
Pritzker Olsen law firm is investigating the multistate Salmonella Baildon outbreak linked to a Mexican-style restaurant chain. 80 individuals infected with a matching strain of Salmonella Baildon have been reported from 15 states since May 1, 2010: Connecticut CT (1), Georgia GA (1), Iowa IA (1), Illinois IL (20), Indiana IN (4), Kentucky KY (5), Massachusetts MA (1), Michigan MI (4), Minnesota MN (5), New Jersey NJ (6), New York NY (2), Ohio OH (6), Oregon OR (1), Washington WA (1) and Wisconsin WI (22).

Salmonella Hartford Outbreak Lawsuit
A total of 75 individuals infected with a matching strain of Salmonella Hartford have been reported from 15 states since April 1, 2010: Colorado CO (1), Georgia GA (1), Illinois IL (5), Indiana IN (11), Kentucky KY (23), Massachusetts MA (2), Michigan MI (3), Montana MT (1), North Carolina NC (1), NH (1), New York NY (1), Ohio OH (19), Pennsylvania PA (1), SC (1) and Wisconsin WI (4).

Baker Street Restaurant & Pub Salmonella Poisoning
Pritzker Olsen Law Firm is investigating a possible salmonella outbreak, reported by the Kenosha News. Kenosha County Health Department has closed the Baker Street Restaurant & Pub, on Green Bay Road, until the source of the salmonella poisoning can be determined. 10-18 people have been sickened, including patrons and employees.

Subway Salmonellosis Lawsuit
The Illinois Department of Public Health and local health departments throughout the state are investigating the cause of Salmonella illnesses among customers who ate at certain Subway restaurants in Illinois. As of June 3, 2010, 34 cases of Salmonella have been confirmed with this outbreak and all are recovering, of which 14 had been hospitalized.

Central Louisiana State Hospital Clostridium Perfringens
An outbreak of perfringens poisoning caused by Clostridium perfringens at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana has killed 3 and sickened over 40, according to health officials at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.  Epidemiological evidence suggests that chicken salad served at the hospital was contaminated with Clostridium perfringens (C. perfringens). 

Hartmann Dairy E coli Lawsuit Lawyer
In May, 2010, the Minnesota Department of Health linked three cases of E. coli O157:H7 illness with raw milk from Hartmann Dairy Farm in Gibbon, Minnesota. One person developed HUS. Read Minnesota Food Poisoning Lawyer information.

E. coli O145

Peppa's E. coli Lawsuit
Using epidemiological evidence, the Hawaii Department of Health associated an E. coli outbreak with Peppa’s II Korean BBQ in Honolulu in March of 2010. Read more about the Honolulu E. coli Outbreak.Michigan Campylobacter Outbreak Associated with Family Farms Cooperative and Forest Grove Dairy
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) issued a public alert on March 19, 2010 regarding illness from Campylobacter infections (campylobacteriosis) among people who have reported consuming raw milk products obtained from the Family Farms Cooperative in Vandalia, Michigan. The plastic containers of raw milk have the following information on a green and white cap: "FOREST GROVE DAIRY, MIDDLEBURY, INDIANA; RAW COW'S MILK, WARNING-NOT PASTEURIZED, 128 FL OZ."

Shigellosis Outbreak Associated with Subway in Lombard, Illinois
An outbreak of shigellosis (an illness caused by Shigella bacteria) has been associated with a Subway restaurant located at 1009 E. Roosevelt Road in Lombard, which has been closed pending further results of the investigation. As of the afternoon of March 4, 2010, eight cases of shigellosis have been laboratory confirmed. Four cases have been hospitalized, with at least one case discharged and recovering at home.

Belgium, Wisconsin E. coli HUS Outbreak
Five children living on Grand Avenue in Belgium, Wisconsin, have been diagnosed with E. coli O157:H7. Health officials have not found the source of the E. coli-HUS outbreak. Steak E. coli Outbreak Lawsuit
Our E. coli lawyers are investigating cases of E. coli O157 that may be associated with steak served at restaurants in California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and Washington. Applebee's Lawsuit

Olive Garden Lawsuit
Olive Garden restaurants received steak that was later recalled by National Steak and Poultry due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination.

Moe's E. coli Lawsuit
Moe’s Southwest Grill is one of the restaurants that received steak from National Steak and Poultry that was later recalled due to possible E. coli contamination.

Carino's E. coli Lawsuit
Carino’s Italian Restaurant received beef potentially contaminated with E. coli O157:H7 from Oklahoma-based supplier National Steak and Poultry, according to a media statement the company issued about its recall of 248,000 pounds of steak.

KRM 54th Street Grill E. coli Lawsuit
KRM Restaurant Group, which operates 15 locations of the 54th Street Bar and Grill, purchased steak from National Steak and Poultry that may have been contaminated with E. coli O157.

Legionnaires' Disease Possibly Associated with Contaminated Water at the EPIC hotel in Miami, Florida
Health officials are investigating a possible Legionnaires' disease outbreak associated with the EPIC hotel in Miami, Florida. The possible outbreak involves three former guests of the hotel, one of whom died.

Beef Packers Lawsuit
Pritzker Olsen law firm is representing an Arizona client who contracted a Salmonella Newport infection linked to Cargill/Beef Packers ground beef that was recalled in August of 2009 (see below). Prompted by a second Salmonella Newport outbreak in Arizona, Beef Packers, Inc, issued a second recall of over 20,000 pounds of ground beef that was produced on September 23, 2009.

Dungeness Valley Creamery E. coli
According to the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA), three recent E. coli infections in Washington have been linked to drinking raw (unpasteurized) milk produced by the Dungeness Valley Creamery in Sequim, Washington.

Cedar Groves Baptist Church Salmonella
Several People who purchased a meal at a fundraiser in Conway, South Carolina, on Nov. 13, 2009, have been sickened with gastroentestinal illness consistent with Salmonella poisoning (salmonellosis). At least 5 people were hospitalized.

Fairbank Farms Beef Recall Lawsuit
Fairbank Farms, an Ashville, New York firm, is recalling approximately 545,699 pounds of fresh ground beef products that has been associated with a multi-state E. coli O157:H7 outbreak.

South Shore Meat Company Recall
On October 26, 2009, South Shore Meat Company in Brockton, Massachusetts has recalled about 1,039 pounds of fresh ground beef patties derived from bench trim as well as mechanically tenderized beef cuts based on confirmed laboratory evidence of the presence of E. coli O157:H7 in leftover ground beef samples obtained from Camp Bournedale, a nature camp in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Michigan Alfalfa Sprouts Salmonella Lawsuit
Michigan has 12 confirmed Salmonella Typhimurium cases linked to alfalfa sprouts.

Cargill Recall - Beef Packers, Inc. Ground Beef
A Colorado outbreak of a drug-resistant strain of Salmonella Newport has been associated with ground beef processed by Beef Packers, Inc., owned by Cargill.  Read about the Cargill conection to Beef Packers and a Cargill lawsuit. Memphis, Tennessee Salmonella Lawsuit

Ground Beef E. coli Outbreak
An investigation of E. coli infections associated with consumption of ground beef has sickened people in Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania. One 7-year-old Cleveland girl may have died in the outbreak. Cruise Ship Salmonella Oranienburg
We are representing a 55-year-old Minnesota man who became sick on a cruise ship in the Caribbean and almost died from a rare form of Salmonella. At least one other Minnesotan was sickened on the cruise ship. Salmonella cases in other states may also be part of this outbreak.

Sprouts Salmonella Outbreak
A Salmonella Saintpaul outbreak associated with SunSprout Enterprises Sprouts has sickened people in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota and Missouri. We are representing victims of this outbreak.

Illinois Cheese Campylobacter Outbreak
Health officials from Rockford, Illinois, are investigating three confirmed cases of Campylobacter in people who ate illegally manufactured cheese purchased from parking lot vendors.

Colorado Campylobacter Outbreak Associated with Raw Milk
The Colorado Dept. of Health has reported 11 cases of Campylobacter (campylobacteriosis) that may be associated with raw milk from Kinikin Corner Dairy in Montrose, Colorado. Read about a Kinikin Corner Dairy Campylobacter lawsuit.

Minnesota Campylobacter Outbreak Associated with Chipotle
A Minnesota Campylobacter outbreak has been asociated with an Apple Valley restaurant. Several people have been sickened. Health officials have not reported the name of the restaurant or a suspected food source of the outbreak. Minnesota food poisoning attorney Brendan Flaherty is representing a woman who was seriously injured. Her story was highlighted by Consumer Reports. Salmonella in Pistachios
Several illnesses have been reported by pistachio consumers that may be related to pistachios distributed by Setton Pistachios of Terra Bella, California. FDA is conducting tests to look for matches between the strains of Salmonella found in the company's pistachios and strains of the bacteria found in ill people. Salmonella Linked to Union International Food Co. and Uncle Chen White Pepper
A Salmonella outbreak linked to a spice company has sickened 42 people, including 33 in California. Eight of the 42 have been hospitalized. The spice company, Union International Food Co., has recalled its white and black pepper, paprika, onion power, curry powder, mustard powder, wasabi powder, garlic and chopped onion. Salmonella Wrongful Death Lawsuit: Pritzker Law Firm Represents Family
A 72-year-old Minnesota woman was the first reported death in the Salmonella outbreak linked to King Nut peanut butter. On behalf of her heirs, attorney Fred Pritzker has started the process of a lawsuit against King Nut Companies and Peanut Corporation of America.

University of Colorado (UC) E. coli
An E. coli outbreak at the University of Colorado at Boulder has sickened at least 8 people, 7 of them students. Health officials have not found the source of the outbreak, but recent outbreaks and recalls would suggest that beef or leafy greens caused these illnesses.

Michigan E. coli: Lettuce
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has associated 26 cases of E. coli O157:H7 with bagged, industrial-sized packages of iceberg lettuce sold through wholesale venues (Aunt Mid's lawsuit) to restaurants and institutions (University of Michigan and MSU E. coli lawsuit).

Idaho E. coli
An E. coli outbreak at Little Leggs Daycare in Idaho has led to eight confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7.

Vermont E. coli
On October 10, 2008, the Vermont Department of Health warned consumers not to eat undercooked meat because it has identified 8 cases of E. coli O157:H7 in Vermont.

California E. coli
A California E. coli outbreak has sickened attendees of the BBQ Benefit in Forest Ranch, California. Health officials have determined that contaminated beef tri-tip was the source of the outbreak.

South Dakota Boy in Hospital with HUS
A four-year-old from Brandon, South Dakota is in a Minneapolis Hospitalwith hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), probably from an E. coli O157:H7 infection.  South Dakota health officials are investigating this illness along with others that may be part of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak. 

Oklahoma E. coli
An Oklahoma E. coli outbreak may have sickened over 40 people. One person has died, and at least 41 others required hospitalization. Four children have developed hemolytic uremic syndrome; 3 of those children are on dialysis. The Oklahoma State Department of Health has reported that a majority of the people sickened ate at the Country Cottage, a Locust Grove restaurant. Read Country Cottage lawsuit information.

California Campylobacter Outbreak Associated with EcoDairy Farms Raw Milk
Health officials have associated a California Campylobacter outbreak with raw milk from Alexandre Family EcoDairy Farms, a Del Norte County, California dairy. One woman sickened in this outbreak has developed Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Massachusetts E. coli Outbreak
Seven Massachusetts E. coli cases have been linked to Nebraska Beef, Ltd. beef products, Coleman, and Whle Foods Market. Read about a Whole Foods Market lawsuit and the Nebraska Beef and Coleman recall and lawsuit information.

Virginia E. coli Outbreak at Goshen Scout Reservation
The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is investigating an outbreak of E. coli O157 infection among recent attendees of a Boy Scout reservation located in Goshen, Virginia, Goshen Scout Reservation.

Georgia E. coli, Barbecue Pit Lawsuit and Nebraska Beef, Ltd.

There are now 49 confirmed cases in an E. coli outbreak in Michigan (Michigan E. coli), Ohio (Ohio E. coli), Georgia (Georgia E. coli), Indiana, Kentucky, New York and Utah linked to Kroger ground beef and Nebraska ground beef components. Amarillo, Texas IHOP Salmonella Outbreak
According to the Amarillo Department of Public Health, at least 10 people have contracted Salmonella infections after eating at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) in Amarillo, Texas.

Michigan and Ohio E. coli Outbreak and Ground Beef
45 cases of E. coli O157:H7 in Michigan and Ohio may be connected. Epidemiological evidence points to tomatoes as the source of the outbreak. Read more about Michigan E. coli and Ohio E. coli.

Minnesota Preschool E. coli Outbreak
An E. coli outbreak at Wonder World Preschool in the town of Slayton, Minnesota has led to eight confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7. One child has been hospitalized and is showing signs of hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). Read about the Minnesota E. coli outbreak linked to Wonder World Preschool.

E. coli - Washington E. coli Outbreak Associated with Lettuce
9 people from Thurston and Pierce Counties have lab-confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7 that may be linked to bagged lettuce. Federal, state and local health officials are investigating this outbreak. CDC Salmonella Saintpaul Investigation
CDC is collaborating with public health officials in several states, the Indian Health Service, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate an ongoing multistate outbreak of human Salmonella serotype Saintpaul infections. Read about the CDC Salmonella Saintpaul Investigation.

FDA Warning Regarding Tomatoes
The Food and Drug Administration is alerting consumers in New Mexico and Texas that a salmonellosis outbreak appears to be linked to consumption of certain types of raw red tomatoes and products containing raw red tomatoes. Read the FDA Warning.

Texas Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Tomatoes
Texas health officials have confirmed 21 cases in Texas since mid-April, including cases in Harris, Fort Bend, Dallas, Tarrant, Hays and Cameron counties. [Update: 265 confirmed Salmonella Saintpaul cases in Texas.] Consumption of raw tomatoes has been implicated as the likely source of infections. New Mexico Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Tomatoes
The New Mexico Department of Health has announced that an outbreak of Salmonella is likely caused by eating uncooked tomatoes. So far, 31 people from seven counties in New Mexico have been sick with a strain of Salmonella called Salmonella Saintpaul. Nebraska E. coli Outbreak Associated with Roast Beef
Nebraska E. coli outbreak associated with roast beef has sickened at least 14 people. Epidemiological evidence indicates that those sickened ate the roast beef at a private event at a Sarpy County reception hall on March 26, 2008. La Mesa, California Chipotle Hepatitis A Outbreak
At least eighteen people have contracted hepatitis A after eating at the La Mesa Chipotle in San Diego County, California.  The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) and County Department of Environmental Health (DEH) are investigating. Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat Recall
21 people in 13 states have laboratory-confirmed cases of Salmonella linked to a Malt-O-Meal Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat recall due to possible Salmonella contamination.  The Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat recall involves unsweetened Puffed Rice and unsweetened Puffed Wheat Cereals produced with “Best If Used By” codes between April 8, 2008 (coded as “APR0808”) and March 18, 2009 (coded as “MAR1809”). Minnesota Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Frozen Chicken
Minnesota health and agriculture officials have two recent cases of salmonellosis (specifically Salmonella Enteritidis infection) in Minnesota have been linked to raw, frozen, breaded and pre-browned, stuffed chicken entrees. The implicated product is Milford Valley Farms Chicken Cordon Bleu with a stamped code of C8021. This product is sold at many different grocery store chains. E. coli Wrongful Death Settlement

Taco Bell E. coli Outbreak
The Taco Bell-linked E. coli outbreak has sickened over 60 people in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvnia, South Carolina and Utah.
